How many photos do I need to create a mosaic?
You need at least 30 photos. We recommend 100 or more for the best results — more photos means more variety in your mosaic tiles and a more detailed final image.
Where are my photos stored? Are they uploaded anywhere?
Your photos never leave your device. All processing happens locally, and no data is uploaded to any server. Thumbnails are cached on your device for performance only.
How do I export my mosaic as a video?
Open your completed mosaic, then tap the export button. You can choose from three animation patterns: a zoom-in animation, an assembly animation where photos are placed one by one, or a combination of both. The video will be saved to your photo library.
What is the difference between Free and Premium?
The free plan lets you create up to 2 mosaics per month with a watermark on exports. You can also purchase a single watermark removal for $1.99 per mosaic. Premium ($19.99, one-time) unlocks unlimited creations with no watermark and includes all export animation patterns.
How do I restore my Premium purchase on a new device?
Go to Settings within the app and tap "Restore Purchases." Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID that was used for the original purchase.
The mosaic generation seems slow. What can I do?
Generation time depends on the number of source photos and the grid size. Using fewer photos or closing other apps to free up memory can help. Typically, generation takes 15-20 seconds.
Can I use Mozary without an internet connection?
Yes! Mozary processes everything on your device. The only feature that requires internet is purchasing Premium through the App Store.
How do I delete a mosaic?
On the home screen, swipe left on the mosaic you want to delete, or tap into the mosaic details and use the delete option. Note that once deleted, the mosaic cannot be recovered.
